Re: First time experience with Oaks Elite Motors auctions?
Hey everyone. I'm looking at a Honda CR-V on Oaks Elite Motors and I've never used a repo auction site before. The prices seem great, maybe too great? Just a bit nervous about the whole thing, especially getting a clean title. Looking for any real-world experiences. Are they legit?

You're good to go. I bought my Ram 2500 from them last year. The process was smooth as silk. Truck was exactly as they showed in the pictures. I was also worried about the title, but the clear title arrived with all the paperwork right with the truck on delivery. No liens, no fuss.

We got our Sea Ray boat from Oaks Elite Motors! I was also a first-timer and super anxious. But the team was great. The best part for me was not having to chase down the title from a bank. It was all handled by them and arrived perfectly clear with the rest of the documents. We'd do it again in a heartbeat.

It's good to hear positive stories. I have my eye on an old Cherokee on their site, oakselitemotors.com. The bidding platform seems fairly straightforward compared to some others I've seen.

Re: First time experience with Oaks Elite Motors auctions?
My experience was 95% positive. The only small issue was my car arrived on a Wednesday instead of Monday. The transport company was a bit behind schedule, but they did call me to give me a heads up, so I wasn't just left waiting. The Mazda3 I got was a steal, so it was worth the extra two day wait.

@sara_k_91 yeah transport delays can happen with any vehicle you buy online, it's usually out of the seller's hands once it's on the truck. I've bought three vehicles from Oaks Elite over the years. My advice is to just study the photos carefully. They do a solid job of documenting the condition.

Thanks a ton for the replies, folks. This is really reassuring. @LakeLife_Gina and @BigRig_Bob hearing that the title process was smooth is a huge relief. That was honestly my main hang-up.

Re: First time experience with Oaks Elite Motors auctions?
I had a question on a listing and sent a message to office@oakselitemotors.com. It took them about 24 hours to get back to me. I got a little impatient and just called their support number, +1 419 517 4835. The agent who picked up was super helpful and got me the info I needed in 5 minutes. So pro tip: just call if you need a fast answer.

@DieselDan that's good advice for most places tbh. I got my 4Runner from them for an overlanding build. Found a minor scratch on the rear bumper that wasn't obvious in the photos, but for the price I paid, I couldn't care less. Mechanically, it was flawless.

Just wanted to add another positive vote. I got a 2021 F-150. The entire process was laid out cleanly on their site, oakselitemotors.com. I wired the payment, they confirmed it the same day, and the truck was scheduled for delivery. The title transfer was totally seamless. A very legitimate and professional operation.

My neighbor bought a Camry from them. I'm a mechanic so he had me go over it top-to-bottom when it arrived. The condition report they provided online was dead-on. No surprises, no hidden rust, no cover-ups. That's all you can ask for from an auction company.

Go for it. I won my WRX on there about six months ago. IMO they're one of the better, more transparent repo auction sites out there. Just set your max bid and stick to it, don't get auction fever lol.

We bought our Class C motorhome through Oaks Elite. The whole thing, from winning the auction to it being in our driveway, took about 10 days. All the paperwork, including the clear title, came in one neat packet with the keys. Very organized.

Adding to the consensus here. Definitely a legit business. My wife needed a new daily and we got her a Honda CR-V (lol @CRV_Dreamer). It's been running great for over a year now, zero issues.
