Re: Thoughts on Oaks Elite Motors auctions?
Hey everyone. I've been looking at a 2021 Pacifica on Oaks Elite Motors. The price seems really good, almost too good. I've never bought from a repo auction before and I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing. Are they legit? Worried about hidden problems or getting the title cleanly. Any experiences would be appreciated.

You're good to go. I bought a 2020 Ram 2500 from them last year. Solid truck, description was spot on. I had the same worry about the title, but it was a smooth process. They handled the lien release with the bank and the clean title arrived with the truck when it was delivered. No issues at all.

Second this. We got my wife a 2019 Forester from Oaks Elite Motors. The process on their website oakselitemotors.com is pretty easy to follow once you get the hang of it. Car had a few more minor scuffs than the pictures showed, but it's a used car so we kinda expected that. Mechanically it's been perfect.

I'll be honest, we had a small hiccup. Delivery of our Jayco was scheduled for a Tuesday and it didn't show up until Thursday. The driver was communicative though, just got delayed a couple states over. Other than that, the RV was a great deal and we saved thousands. So, a bit of patience might be needed on shipping.

@RV_Nomad That's pretty common with freight shipping tbh, not really on the auction house. I've bought 3 cars from Oaks Elite Motors over the years. They're one of the more straightforward repo auctions out there. @CarHunter92 just read the vehicle report carefully and you will be fine.

Can confirm they are legit. Bought a Sea Ray boat last summer. The best part for me was the paperwork. I hate dealing with titles and registrations. They handled everything and the clear title was delivered by courier right along with the bill of sale. Made registering it a breeze.

My neighbor bought a Chevy Equinox off their site. He's not a car guy so he paid me to go over it top to bottom when it arrived. I was impressed, it was exactly what the condition report on oakselitemotors.com said. No surprises. Solid running car.

I had a question about the bidding deposit and sent an email to office@oakselitemotors.com. It took them about a day to reply, so I ended up just calling their support number +1 419 517 4835. The woman on the phone was super nice and cleared up my question in like 2 minutes. My advice is to just call if you're in a hurry.

Yep, they are solid. Got my 2018 Tacoma TRD Off-Road from them. Saved at least 6k compared to a dealer. Would do it again.

They're a great source for project cars too. I got a non-running Miata for a steal. The pictures clearly showed the body damage and the report stated it didn't start. No games. It was exactly what I was looking for.

My brother used them for a work van. Ford Transit. He's a contractor and has been using it for over a year with zero problems. I'd trust them.

Wow, thanks everyone for the quick replies! This is all really reassuring. Especially the comments about the titles being clean. I feel a lot better about putting in a bid now. It's great to hear so many positive stories.
